Lutheran Senior Services is a group of senior living communities in the greater St. Louis area, Central Missouri, and Illinois. As a member of the in-house creative team, my broad skill set as a designer was put to use as my work ranged from digital and print design, branding, photography, and illustration.
The best part of being part of the LSS team was serving the senior residents. One of my favorite creative projects in service to said residents was a year long team collaboration where I illustrated and designed the main artwork for monthly articles about Route 66 that were published to all of our various senior living community newsletters. As each month passed, I would add newly designed bumper stickers as if the car was taking the journey along with the readers. Additionally, I also had the opportunity to serve as the team photographer and to use my illustration and design skills for various marketing and communication projects.
